New Features

• Swisscom Business Account integration: Authentication using a Swisscom Business Account is now supported. This feature is available for Basic and Plus subscriptions and ensures seamless access and enhanced security for business users.

Improvements

• Enhanced account handling: Authentication and session management have been optimized to support the new business account and passkey features.
• Security and reliability updates: Platform components have been updated in line with Swisscom’s current security requirements and quality standards.

New Features

• Passkey authentication: Passkeys can now be used for authentication on all platforms (Basic and Plus subscriptions). This simplifies login and enhances security.
• Faster re-authentication flow: A new re-authentication process allows users to extend authentication validity after a session expires. It reduces interruptions while maintaining secure access.
• Dark Mode: Dark Mode is now supported on all platforms, improving visual comfort and accessibility, especially in low-light environments.

Improvements

• Optimized experience on tablets: The interface and navigation have been improved for iPadOS and Android tablets. Layouts are optimized for larger screens and improved responsiveness.
• Support for the latest platforms: The beem app is now fully compatible with iOS/iPadOS, Android 15, and Windows 11 24H2.

The new Windows app beem_7.9.0_x64.msi is available for download. This version includes all features and improvements listed above, along with Windows-specific improvement.

Windows-specific improvements:

• Improved performance and responsiveness on Windows 11.
• Optimized layout and navigation for high-resolution displays.
• Compatibility updates for Windows 11 24H2.
